Long Time Medical/Surgical Nurse Retires
NORWAY, ME - Western Maine Health President and CEO Timothy A. Churchill announced recently that Jan Clark, RN, a long time nurse at Stephens Memorial Hospital, has retired after nearly 34 years of service.
Jan's retirement celebration was headed up by her co-workers on the Medical/Surgical Unit and was Las Vegas themed - complete with an Elvis impersonator, Henry Raymond, RN, as well as two showgirl impersonators - Kim Martin and Sharon Young, black jack tables staffed with co-workers, and waitresses to serve you. Jan is a fan of Las Vegas, visiting just about every year, she plans to visit during her retirement as well.
Mr. Churchill thanked Jan for her many years of service and presented her with a monetary token of appreciation from the hospital; Jan was also honored by her co-workers with a collection and card.
