Safe Sitter® Class at SMH a Success

NORWAY, ME -  Stephens Memorial Hospital has announced the successful completion of the February Safe Sitter® class which finished up on February 22nd with 10 participants.

Safe Sitter® ( is a medically accurate program that teaches 11 to 13 year-olds how to be safe, nurturing babysitters.  The goal of the Safe Sitter® program is to reduce the number of avoidable and unintentional deaths among children being cared for by babysitters.

Other classes for 2007 April 17 & 19, June 19 & 21, July 17 & 19, August 14 &16, and August 21 & 23.  All classes are two days.  Please call 207-743-1562 x380 to sign up for classes and further information.
