Liz Evans Exhibits at Hospital

NORWAY, ME - Western Maine Health President and Chief Executive Officer Timothy Churchill has announced that West Paris artist Liz Evans is currently exhibiting her work at Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway, a show which will remain thru April.

Liz Evans has been painting for over 30 years.  She works in pastels, watercolors, oils; most recently she has become engulfed in drawing. Having taken a few courses in pastels and watercolors, she does not say she is self-taught, but rather says Evans considers herself, "self-inspired…through my paintings I give you a moment of piece, Life has sharp edges; I try to soften them…"

Liz works out of her studio in West Paris and is also currently represented by The Painted Mermaid Gallery in South Paris, as well as Little Sebago Gallery in Windham.  She has won numerous awards at shows and fairs and is involved with the Western Maine Art Group.

Stephens Volunteer Services works with local artists and artisans to provide year round exhibition at the hospital.
