Description   PURPOSE The purpose of the annual stroke conferences is to improve stroke care in Maine by providing clinicians with research and evidence-based best practices for use in their everyday treatment of stroke patients. TARGET AUDIENCE Health care professionals who provide services for patients following a stroke. This conference is appropriate for physicians, psychologists, nurses, care coordinators, case managers, social workers, physical therapist, speech language pathologists, recreational therapists, and occupational therapists. Fee Comment   Cost: $100 (includes lunch and $5 donation to the American Heart/American Stroke Association) $75 for MaineHealth member employees and for students; there is no charge for MMC and NERHP employees.
