Harper Conference Center at Stephens Memorial Hospital
Shannon Nassa, RN, ICBLC will be leading the class, which will cover the facts of breastfeeding, and help dispel the myths about it. The group will also learn skills for successful breastfeeding, as some infants are born knowing what to do and some need help learning; some mothers also take more naturally to breastfeeding while others require more support. This class will help make people aware of the support services available to breastfeeding mothers.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends breastfeeding for all babies and the staff at the Family Birthplace are here to assist.
For a schedule of future classes, more information or to register for this class please call the Family Birthplace.
