Description   Planning Ahead with Advanced Directives!
What are Advanced Directives? Advance directives are legal documents that allow you to spell out your decisions about end-of-life care ahead of time such as “terminal illness” or “permanent unconsciousness”. It’s not something that we like to think about, but the Advanced Directives give you a way to tell your wishes to family, friends, and health care professionals and to avoid confusion later on.
Join Stephens Memorial Hospital’s licensed clinical social worker, Robin Green for a discussion on the importance of Advanced Directives along with other ways to make your healthcare wishes known ahead of time.
