Description   Taking Charge of your Health by Planning Ahead with Advanced Directives!
What are Advanced Directives? Advance directives are legal documents that allow you to spell out your decisions about end-of-life care ahead of time such as "terminal illness" or "permanent unconsciousness”. It’s not something that we like to think about, but the Advanced Directives give you a way to tell your wishes to family, friends, and health care professionals and to avoid confusion later on. Join Stephens Memorial Hospital’s licensed clinical social worker, Robin Green for a discussion on the importance of Advanced Directives along with other ways to make your healthcare wishes known ahead of time. Light refreshments will be provided.
