Western Maine Health - Chaplaincy Program
Ways I Can Help

Chaplaincy Program

The Chaplaincy Program provides regular and emergency pastoral care to patients, their families and staff of Western Maine Health.  A volunteer chaplain is on call 24 hours a day to offer support.

Area clergy are voluntary members of the program and must be approved by both the Chaplaincy Review Board and hospital administration.

At Market Square Health Care Center, chaplains also provide pastoral care to residents, their families and staff. In addition, Market Square offers a non-denominational church service once a week at 10 a.m., given by the chaplain on duty. This service is open to all Market Square residents.
