School Health Center
Operated by the John F. Andrews Family Care Center, the Boothbay Region School Health Center offers accessible healthcare to students in grades K-12 as well as school staff.
Staffed by a Nurse Practitioner, School Nurse, Physical Therapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker, the health center provides basic healthcare services such as sports physicals, immunizations, flu shots and diagnosis and treatment of common illnesses such as ear infections, strep throat, mono and conjunctivitist.

Confidential services such as counseling regarding alcohol or drug abuse, reproductive health issues, pregnancy tests, contraception and diagnosing and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases are provided.
Physical therapy for sports is available two days a week.
Because there is more to wellness than taking care of physical needs, licensed clinical social workers are available to talk to students about a variety of issues, including alcohol & drug use, depression/anxiety, domestic violence and sexually transmitted diseases.
