mammography, bone density scans, computed tomography (CT scans), ultrasonography and
general diagnostic exams.
Because excellent

staff will work with your primary care provider to tailor a plan of
care to your individual needs and make sure you understand all your
options.
Digital
Mammography
Finding breast cancer at its earliest and most treatable stage is the key to curing the disease.
Digital mammography units, like the one at St. Andrews, offer a number of
advantages over film technology, including a better image for women under
age 50 or those with dense breast tissue.
Bone Density Scans
Osteoporosis and low bone mass affect an
estimated 44 million Americans. Women are four times more likely to
develop osteoporosis than men. A bone density scan can
help you understand whether you are at risk
of potentially crippling fractures and whether you could
benefit from available treatment options. For your convenience, bone
density scans can often be scheduled in conjunction with your
mammogram.
