Spring Harbor Hospital Welcomes Director of Development

(December 2008)
Aria Tuki of Cape Elizabeth has been hired as Director of Development & Communications at Spring Harbor Hospital.  She brings more than 10 years of experience in fund-raising and public relations to her new role.
Previously, Tuki was communications director for the New Jersey DEP Green Acres Program and director of public outreach for Delaware & Raritan Greenway Land Trust, where she raised $200,000 annually from both private and public sources.  She additionally served as the assistant director of leadership gifts at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA, where she was responsible for cultivating and securing donations ranging from $25,000 to $500,000.

Tuki holds an MBA from Lehigh University and a BA in Economics from East Stroudsburg University.  She is a member of the Cape Elizabeth Land Trust Board of Directors.

"I am really looking forward to working with Aria," says Spring Harbor Hospital Board Development Committee Chair Sheri Boulos. "She comes with an impressive background, a wonderful personality, and a great sense of enthusiasm for Spring Harbor's charitable mission."
Tuki joins the organization just in time to launch its annual appeal to the community. Thanks to leadership gifts from hospital trustees, staff, and friends, the campaign is already at 25% of goal.
