Free Programs and Services
As a nonprofit psychiatric service network, Spring Harbor is pleased to offer the following free and low-fee programs and services.
Crisis Intervention Training for Law Enforcement Officials
Spring Harbor—in partnership with local agencies, police departments, and the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill of Maine —offers free training to law enforcement officials on how to safely and appropriately respond to psychiatric emergencies.
Education and Screening Programs
Each winter, spring and fall, Spring Harbor offers community programs on the warning signs and treatment of depression and anxiety disorders. Also provided at no charge are anxiety and depression screening programs. Our ongoing educational calendar includes a number of low-cost programs on everything from stress reduction to managing child behavior problems. Spring Harbor and Maine Medical Center offer free interpreter services to our patients, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
