Rushika Conroy, MD

I have a unique role at Maine Medical Center. I am a pediatric endocrinologist who specializes in obesity medicine, which means I am able to work in two departments, with two groups of amazing people. I am the leader of the pediatric obesity program through the Weight and Wellness Center, where I evaluate and care for any child or adolescent who struggles with their weight. I also spend time in the pediatric endocrinology office seeing patients who have diabetes, thyroid disease or disorders of growth and puberty.

I love to bake (zucchini muffins and chocolate chip cookies are my kids’ favorites), spend time with my family and friends, read (murder mystery or the occasional YA borrowed from my daughter) and watch old episodes of my favorite TV shows (Scrubs, Law and Order, Greys Anatomy).
