 *Admission criteria:

  •  A diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder or other primary diagnosis that reflects severe problems with emotion regulation;
  • Individuals for whom engagement in the needed intensity of mental health treatment has been unsuccessful, as evidenced by prior use of services such as case management, individual therapy, psychiatry, or ACT that has been ineffectual;
  • Three psychiatric hospitalizations within a 12-18 month period OR fewer than 3 psychiatric hospitalizations, but with extensive inpatient length of stay (30+ days) OR a 30-day period, along with use of other community resources, such as mobile crisis or police interaction.
