Child & Family Traumatic Stress Intervention Program
For children, youth and families

How can we help?

FamilyTherapy.jpgMaine Behavioral Healthcare is pleased to offer effective evidence-based therapy for children, youth and families impacted by difficult life situations including divorce, substance abuse, communication problems & other stressful circumstances.

Specially trained clinicians offer skills and support to help children and their families overcome depression, anxiety, or trauma. Clinical experts provide parenting interventions for difficult or worrisome behaviors, and a specialized clinical team provides strengths-based counseling on-site at schools for students experiencing emotional difficulties.

Our clinicians are trained to work with the youngest children, even those who are unable to verbally communicate yet, and utilize evidence-based therapies such as Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help children heal and have a happy and healthy childhood.
