Adult Crisis Stabilization Units

The Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is a short-term, multi-bed unit in a home-like setting located in a residential neighbor-hood. We respect the confidentiality and safety of all clients admitted to our units.

The CSU provides a 24-hour structured, treatment-based program in a supportive and safe environment for the purpose of helping resolve a crisis situation, as well as a transitional short-term support after an in-patient hospital stay.

Our trained staff works with clients on solution-focused goals to improve functions of daily living and coping strategies, utilizing evidence-based as well as trauma, recovery, and co-occurring models of treatment. Staff is on duty 24 hours a day to support and ensure the safety of clients.

The CSU encourages independence while at the unit. This may include meal preparation, attending scheduled appointments, and other structured daily activities.

The CSU staff will work closely with you, your support network, and providers to ensure a safe transition from CSU care.
