Damariscotta is a small community located in Midcoast Maine approximately 55 miles north of Portland. With a population of over 3,000 people, this picturesque town sits off Route 1 on the Damariscotta River at the head of Pemaquid Peninsula. The historic town of Bath is situated on the coast of Maine, just 30 miles north of Portland. It is a community of approximately 9,000 people. Located on the coast with easy access to the western lakes region and mountains, Portland is the largest city in Maine with a population of approximately 64,000 people. Norway and the Oxford Hills community are located in the foothills of the White Mountains, 50 miles north of Portland. Located on the banks of the Androscoggin River, Lewiston and neighboring Auburn form the business and cultural center of Androscoggin County as well as the second largest metropolitan area in Maine. Originally settled in 1794, Farmington, is nestled in the beautiful foothills of west central Maine. Skowhegan is a community of 9,000 people located 20 miles north of Waterville and a 90-minute drive north of Portland. Mount Desert Island, home of Acadia National Park, offers a wonderful small town atmosphere in an exceptionally beautiful location.
