Medical Center Library
Books and Journals
The Library's catalog, EOS,
is available to everyone and contains the book and journal holdings of the
Maine Medical Center Library. The electronic resources within the catalog
are available onsite and by patrons with remote access privileges.
Books: The Library's book and video collection are available
for check out to Maine Medical Center employees and affiliates. The community is
welcome to use the collection on-site. The Library subscribes to nearly 200
electronic book titles, via STAT!Ref, Books @
Ovid, R2 and MDConsult. These
electronic books are available for use on-site; patrons with remote access
privileges may access from off-site.
Journals: The Library subscribes to hundreds of print and
electronic journals in the clinical sciences and allied health subjects.
In total , we can access nearly 6000 titles with the addition of titles
available from the Maine State Databases. TDNet
provides access information or links to our journals whether they are
print, microform, or full text online. TDNet is available on-site, and off-site
for patrons with remote access privileges.
