The Beat Goes On classes are starting for Fall sessions! Locations vary.

MaineHealth offers a number of different education and exercise programs to help patients and families live as healthy as possible with heart failure.  Please contact Richard Veilleux, veillr@mainehealth.org, 661-7557 for information about the where you can enroll your patients in the Beat Goes On in your community.

Heart Failure Clinical Update Series

Target Audience: Nurses and allied health professionals
Description: 5 different modules, including:

  • Overview of Heart Failure for the Clinical Professional 
  • Clinical Assessments of the Heart Failure Patient 
  • Heart Failure Medication Update 
  • Physical Activity and Nutrition for the Heart Failure Patient 
  • Using the PHQ-9 to Assess Depression
