What is the AH! Program?
The AH! (Asthma Health) Program is a systematic, coordinated, community-based approach to asthma care. Specially trained Community Asthma Education Specialists work with patients and families and primary care providers to educate and manage asthma care in accordance with treatment and management guidelines established by the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute.
The AH! Program has successfully demonstrated significant reductions in hospitalizations and emergency department visits, as well as lowered rates of absenteeism from work and school. For more information about AH!, please send an email to Donna Levi, Program Manager, or call (207) 541-7566.
