What is CarePartners?

 

It is a large group of doctors, hospitals and other
health care providers who have volunteered to
provide many health care services you may need
such as:

  • Regular check-ups and care when you are sick
  • Prescription medications you can afford
  • Lab, x-ray and hospital services at no cost
  • Referrals to services and resources

How much will I have to pay?

If you become a member of CarePartners you
will pay no more than $10.00 for each office visit
and prescription co-payment varies from $10 to $25.
Lab, x-ray and other hospital services are no charge.

How do I know if I am eligible for CarePartners?

Eligiblity guidelines include:

  • You are between the ages of 19–64.
  • You live in one of the 5 cities where we have
    offices or the towns surrounding them:
    Augusta, Belfast, Damariscotta, Portland, and Waterville.
  • You are not eligible for Medicaid or Medicare.
  • You have countable assets less than $10,000 for
    a single adult; $12,000 for a couple or family.
    Many assets people have like a car or a home
    do not count.
  • You have a monthly household income less
    than 175% (200% in Lincoln and Waldo Counties) of the Federal Poverty Level.
