Volunteers needed to support home health and hospice care
Saco, Maine--HomeHealth-Visiting Nurses of
Southern Maine operates three “Books Revisited” bookstores located in Biddeford, Old Orchard Beach and Sanford. These bookstores are staffed entirely by volunteers and sell books donated by residents, civic organizations and local businesses. All proceeds from book sales support HomeHealth-Visiting Nurses and Hospice of Southern Maine.
Volunteers are needed for the Books Revisited Bookstore in Biddeford, located at 29 Main Street. Volunteers work three-hour shifts during the business hours of 10:00 am- 4:00 pm, Monday – Saturday. Volunteer duties include pricing, sorting, cleaning and shelving books, maintaining displays, answering phones, working the cash register and assisting customers. Southern Maine is a not-for-profit home health care agency providing skilled nursing, rehabilitation, home health aide support, medical social work, parent and child health care, community health clinics, telehealth and other services in Cumberland and York counties.
