The Barbara Bush Children's Hospital at Maine Medical Center and MaineHealth  are excited to bring you a new, comprehensive and interactive library of health information.I'm growing up, but am I normal?

The new area of our site features medically reviewed articles, animations, features, and news written to be age-appropriate for three distinct audiences:

What's a booger?In addition to the comprehensive library of age-appropriate articles, here are just some of the unique features kids will discover:

  • Recipes: If you're hungry, grab your apron and get cooking! Making food yourself - with a little help from a parent - is a great way to learn about food and meal preparation. And we have plenty of recipes for you to try - from pizza to pancakes!
  • The Game Closet Fun and interactive experiments, mini-health movies, and games make learning about health exciting.
  • Word!: Our glossary of medical terms with definitions kids can understand is a great homework helper.
  • Dealing with Feelings: Confused, sad, mad, glad? Check out this section to learn about these emotions and many more - and how to deal with them.
  • Watch Out: Staying safe means you can have more fun! Learn how to play it safe at home, outdoors, and on the road during any season of the year.
  • My Body: An interactive tour of the human body.
