(HealthDay News) -- No one wants to end up in a senior home. But there are ways to identify when such a place is well-suited for a loved one.
The appearance and attitude of the existing residents may offer great clues, according to the American Academy of Family Physicians. The group suggests looking for residents who:
- Seem to be content and happy.
- Act friendly.
- Interact well with you and each other.
- Are involved in social activities organized by the home.
