Health Tip: Monitoring Your Child's Development

Make sure your youngster is on track

(HealthDay News) -- As a parent, you want to be sure that your child is developing appropriately -- physically, socially and emotionally.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suggests:

  • Discuss any concerns with your child's doctor. Don't put off the conversation.
  • Use a checklist of milestones by age to see how your child has progressed.
  • Find out about your state's childhood-development resources.
