Enroll in Future Moms and receive round-the-clock access to registered nurses, a book that shows changes you can expect for you and your baby, information on labor and delivery options, and more. You can also receive a $50 gift card to Babies R Us from WOW! for participating in the Future Moms program. Click here for information on this incentive.  

Future Moms also offers a NICU program. This program provides a neonatal specialist to parents of a baby admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit.

Childbirth Education Classes
Located in four regions, these classes are a great way to prepare for birth and meet other moms or moms-to-be. Click below for information including location, times and costs. MaineHealth employees receive 20 percent off all classes. Also, all classes for which there is a fee are eligible for WOW! Rebates .

Learning Resource Centers
See what's happening at the Falmouth, Scarborough or two Portland based resource centers. Each site offers a schedule of classes, educational materials,and resources by topic. The center at Maine Medical Center's East Tower specializes in maternal and child health and parenting. LifeBalance Employee Assistance Program
A newborn baby is a joy and pure love. However, with any big change in life comes stress no matter how happy one may be with the change. LifeBalance is a FREE service to help you with concerns such as finding child care and dealing with the stresses that may accompany your newest family member. Smoking Cessation & Pregnancy
If you are pregnant and smoke or use tobacco one of the best ways you can improve your health and the health of your baby is to quit. Getting help improves your chances of successfully quitting. Tobacco counseling is available for all MaineHealth system employees and their dependents at no cost at MaineHealth-based member organizations offering tobacco treatment services. Approved tobacco treatment medications are covered 100 percent for those who are enrolled in the MaineHealth health plan. Baby teeth matter! An initiative to reach out  to expecting mothers in order to provide preventive oral health care from birth to 3-1/2 years of age is in effect in Maine.
