Alzheimer’s Support Group

Open to anyone that has a loved one diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or any form of dementia. The group helps participants understand the process of the disease and allows for sharing and questions. Those attending the daytime support group are able to bring their loved one with them who will attend the Pavilion’s Activity group during the support group. The group is supported by the Alzheimer Association of Maine.

Third Wednesday of each month, 10:00 am to noon

What Now? Finding Your Way When Cancer Treatment Ends

Second Tuesday of each month, beginning February 2020
Location: Biddeford Medical Center, 1 Medical Center Drive, Classroom 1
Free - A new monthly class for people who are finishing up, or have recently completed, cancer treatment. This class is provided in collaboration with the MaineHealth Cancer Care Network.
Discussion topics include:

  • Dealing with anxiety and stress
  • Establishing and maintaining healthy habits
  • Communicating with your primary care provider
  • Finding resources for dealing with post-treatment challenges
