Only Connect

In the E.M. Forster novel Howard’s End, the protagonist Margaret Shlegel urges her husband to “only connect! . . . . Live in fragments no longer.”

Margaret’s advice rings true for health care in a post-pandemic world. To build a thriving and dynamic future, we must strengthen our bonds and engage even more deeply with our patients, our communities and each other.
