Volunteers - The Heart and Spirit of Giving
Volunteers are the heart and spirit of giving
at HomeHealth Visiting Nurses and their contributions
are immeasurable. Their efforts include working at Books ReVisited, providing office support, installing Lifeline units or greeting patients at our community clinics.

Since 1996, a group of dedicated volunteers have managed and staffed our Books ReVisited stores, where we sell "gently read" books at bargain prices. All sale proceeds for our Biddeford store are dedicated to home healthcare services. All sale proceeds for our Portland store are donated to Pediatric Palliative Care. Sanford store proceeds support both home healthcare and Hospice of Southern Maine.

Bergen Bus Tours
Thanks to the energy and volunteer efforts of Madelyn Bergen Belliveau, we gain promotion, new friendships and contributions to support home healthcare services. Each year, Madelyn organizes a calendar of events to please music, theater and sports enthusiasts, including premiere seats to Red Sox games, the latest musicals in New York and theater selections in Boston. All proceeds from Bergen Bus trips are donated to HomeHealth Visiting Nurses. Click here for the current schedule.
