Infusion Therapy

Franklin Memorial Hospital offers a convenient outpatient program for patients who need frequent chemotherapy and other infusions, injections, port flushes, blood transfusions, and other specialty services. It is staffed with experienced registered nurses Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

We provide many services including, but not limited to: intravenous (IV) therapy for autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis, MS, and Crohn’s disease; specialized intravenous medications including Remicade and Prolastin; intravenous antibiotics; injections; anemia management therapy; central line care (port-a-cath, PICC, and Hickman), surgical and wound dressing changes, catheterization, and colostomy care and education.

If you have been traveling out of town to receive these services, contact your health care provider to see if you can receive care right here, close to home.
